El sacramento de la Penitencia ofrece a \u00e9stos una nueva posibilidad de convertirse y de recuperar la gracia de la justificaci\u00f3n\u00bb (<em>Catecismo<\/em>, 1446).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Jes\u00fas, durante su vida p\u00fablica, no s\u00f3lo exhort\u00f3 a los hombres a penitencia, sino que acogiendo a los pecadores los reconciliaba con el Padre. \u00abAl dar el Esp\u00edritu Santo a sus ap\u00f3stoles, Cristo resucitado les confiri\u00f3 su propio poder divino de perdonar los pecados: \u201cRecibid el Esp\u00edritu Santo. A quienes perdon\u00e9is los pecados, les quedan perdonados; a quienes se los reteng\u00e1is, les quedan retenidos\u201d (<em>Jn <\/em>20, 22-23)\u00bb (<em>Catecismo<\/em>, 976). Es un poder que se transmite a los obispos, sucesores de los ap\u00f3stoles como pastores de la Iglesia, y a los presb\u00edteros, que son tambi\u00e9n sacerdotes del Nuevo Testamento, colaboradores de los obispos, en virtud del sacramento del Orden. \u00abCristo quiso que toda su Iglesia, tanto en su oraci\u00f3n como en su vida y su obra, fuera el signo y el instrumento del perd\u00f3n y de la reconciliaci\u00f3n que nos adquiri\u00f3 al precio de su sangre. Sin embargo, confi\u00f3 el ejercicio del poder de absoluci\u00f3n al ministerio apost\u00f3lico\u00bb ( <em>Catecismo<\/em>, 1442).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Para una buena confesi\u00f3n te dejamos por aqu\u00ed un buen examen de conciencia.
